£40m Spain International Ready To Part Company With Man Utd
David de Gea is allegedly preparing to quit Manchester United after Red Devils head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer put his faith in rival shot-stopper, Dean Henderson.
The Englishman started a seventh game in a row versus Brighton on Sunday to cast further doubt on David’s future at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer has insisted that both players will feature for the club during the final stages of the campaign but it is unlikely that both Dean and David will still be at Manchester United next year.
With the academy product currently ahead of the former Atletico Madrid player in the pecking order – and six years younger than the Spaniard – he will likely be considered as the club’s long-term No. 1.
It seems inconceivable for the Spain international, who is still considered one of the best shot-stoppers in Europe, to settle for a more limited role at the club, and MailSport report he is ready to call time on his Old Trafford career.
The 30-year-old star has been at Manchester United for almost 10 years but is being offered to some of the continent’s top clubs by his representatives.
Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Los Rojiblancos have all been linked with moves for De Gea, who will likely attract a bid in the region of £40 million.
