Achraf joined Inter Milan from Real Madrid last summer and after a brief teething period, he has established himself as a crucial figure for the Nerazzurri. So far this campaign, Hakimi has a solid tally of 6 goals and 6 assists in 33 games across all tournaments.
However, Morocco international could be on his way out of Inter Milan just one year after arriving at San Siro due to the ongoing financial troubles that owners Suning Holdings Group are currently facing. In order to raise funds, the Nerazzurri could, therefore, cash in on several stars, including the Moroccan defender.
And such a situation has alerted Arsenal and Chelsea. Gunners have been reported to be in the market for a right-back ahead of the summer transfer window, with Hector Bellerin being heavily linked with several big-name clubs. If Bellerin ends up calling it quits at the Emirates, Arsenal will be in need of a replacement, making Achraf a viable target.
As for Chelsea, the report claims that Achraf is not being viewed as a possible competitor for Reece James but as an option in midfield or attack. With Ziyech being linked with Atletico Madrid in recent weeks, a spot in the side could open up, although it will be interesting to see how the African defender settles in a role in midfield or attack.
