The 23-year-old star has been sublime since signing for Celtic from Paris Saint-Germain back in 2017 with 81 goals in 160 appearances.
Manager Brendan Rodgers was the man who brought Odsonne to Celtic on an initial loan deal from the Parisians four years ago before his move was made permanent a year later for £9m.
Edouard has attracted interest from multiple clubs across Europe, while Mikel Arteta’s side are also understood to have been monitoring the forward’s performances.
But according to MailOnline, the Foxes believe they have won the hunt for Edouard and a deal in the region of £15 million is close to being agreed.
The report adds that the Frenchman has indicated that he wants to be reunited with the Northern Irish tactician at Leicester this summer.
When quizzed about a move for Edouard two months ago, Rodgers said: ‘I know Odsonne because I signed him for Celtic when he was there, so I know the level of player Celtic have.’
He will have just one year remaining on his current deal with Celtic at the end of the season, while the Ligue 1 giants also have a 40% sell-on clause.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have allegedly joined the race to land RB Leipzig centre-back Ibrahima Konate, the Evening Standard reports.
The 21-year-old will see his contract at Leipzig expire in 2023 and could be allowed to depart for the right price this summer, although the club has already lost Dayot Upamecano to Bayern Munich.
