The Portuguese full-back is currently spending the campaign on loan at AC Milan, where the gifted defender has made 10 starts and four substitute appearances across all competitions.
While the 21-year-old former Porto ace has made a positive impression at the San Siro outfit, there is no deal in place for the transfer to be made permanent at the end of the season.
According to a recent report by Italian media outlet Calciomercato, Barcelona are willing to pay £10 million to sign the versatile player ahead of the Italian heavyweights.
The report adds that the Catalan giants are poised to increase competition for places at right-back in order to ease the burden on the USA international Sergino Dest.
In spite of already selling the Dutch star Timothy Fosu-Mensah to Bayer Leverkusen, the Red Devils are expected to be open to selling Dalot this year.
Elsewhere, Paul Pogba’s deal is coming to an end in 2022 and his entourage Mino Raiola has claimed the Frenchman will leave United in the summer.
However, his team-mate Fred has urged the fellow midfielder to sign a new contract and stay put at United, telling Globo Esporte: “He [Pogba] is one of the guys who works hard, works hard, is very serious in training.
“Inside the locker room is a guy who helps us, is always in a good mood. We hope so much that he can stay, everyone knows his quality, this is indisputable.
“It helps us a lot on and off the field and donates to the maximum, whenever we donate to the maximum it makes great matches. And we hope he stays and is always at his best.”
