The Germany international has been a vital player for the West London club since Thomas Tuchel’s arrival, though, and according to Football Insider, the London giants are lining up contact talks with the former AS Roma defender.
The report claims that the German centre-back is set to be offered a new long-term contract by the London giants, who are currently battling to secure a top-four spot in the English top-tier.
Rudiger’s current deal is set to expire in June 2022, and the Spurs are believed to be keeping a close tabs on developments in the event that the defender does not come to an agreement with Chelsea.
The former Borussia Dortmund starlet has played 134 games for the Blues.
Meanwhile, Chelsea also planning to tied down Brazilian defender Thiago Silva with a new deal after his impressive debut in the Premier League and the Blues are in talks with the entourage of former PSG captain.
