DEAL ON :Arsenal Closely Deal Monitoring 23-Year-Old Bundesliga Forward
Manchester United reportedly held talks with the representatives of Bayer Leverkusen forward Leon Bailey in the January transfer window.
The 23-year-old forward who has been consistently rumoured with a move away from his German club over the last 12 months, has found back of the net 12 times and provided nine assists in 32 games at club level this season.
According to journalist Jonathan Shrager, Man United held talks with the players agents earlier this year, although AC Milan and Tottenham are also believed to have been in contact with the Jamaica international.
The versatile forward still has more than two years left on his current contract, however, could seemingly be allowed to depart from BayArena for the right price during this summer’s transfer window.
Arsenal are also believed to have an interest, with the Gunners keeping an eye on Bailey’s games in this season’s Europa League, where he has managed to found back of the net five times and provided two assists in eight games.
The Jamaican has scored 36 goals and provided 24 assists in 148 games for Bayer Leverkusen.
Arsenal and Chelsea will have to break the bank in order to lure Bailey away from BayArena.
