Manchester United are ready to send Facundo Pellistri out on loan during the January transfer window, according to the latest reports…….Man Utd Not Against Shipping £9m Signing Out On Loan
The 19-year-old attacker was signed in a £9 million deal from Uruguayan outfit Penarol in October and has trained with the first-team roster following his arrival at Old Trafford.
The forward is yet to make his senior team debut but he has made eight appearances across the Red Devils’ youth sides.
Pellistri has been included in two UEFA Champions League squads this campaign but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is yet to give the South American his first appearance.
According to Manchester Evening News, the club are now open to loan offers for Facundo this month as they are keen for the winger to get regular first-team football.
Ole confirmed two weeks ago that the youngster had tested positive for Covid-19 but the English giants will allow him to leave once he fully recovers.
Speaking earlier this month, Facundo revealed that the Norwegian tactician is keeping tabs on his progress.
‘I am in contact with him all the time,’ said the 19-year-old ace. ‘He is giving me advice and asking me how I am doing and how I am feeling. That, for me, is very important and I am really thankful to him.’
Elsewhere, Manchester United have tabled a six-month loan offer for outgoing Inter Milan star Christian Eriksen, reports Duncan Castles’ The Transfer Window podcast.
The report adds the Red Devils would usually have been “laughed out of court” because of the cut-price nature of their offer.
But senior figures at Old Trafford hope to land the Dane on a favourable temporary deal amid the financial strain the Nerazzurri are experiencing due to the coronavirus pandemic.
