The 30-year-old has spent 11 campaigns with the North London club after moving from Cardiff back in June 2008. The Wales international found back of the net 64 times from 369 games in all competitions before departing for Italy in 2019.
He won three FA cup trophies with the Gunners. however, the talented attacker who has spent too much time on the bench left the club in favour of Juventus.
A move to Turin seemed the ideal way to return his career back on the tracks, however, he struggles to cement place in Andrea Pirlo’s starting XI/
Juve won the Serie A title but are struggling in their defence this season. The Old Lady sit fourth, seven points behind from the arch-rivals AC Milan.
And Pires Feels that Ramsey could be on his way out from the Turin club this summer and the Gunners should consider re-signing him.
“I expected him [Pirlo] to bet on Aaron, because he is a very good player and a very good professional. For a coach it is important,” he told TuttoJuve. “He is very intelligent and knows how to adapt everywhere, Juve is a very big club and Serie A is improving him even more.”
“He needs to stay a few more years and then he will return to Arsenal. That is my belief, I’m not a fortune teller.”
Arteta has managed to turn things around at Arsenal over the past few weeks. A run of five wins and two draws in seven games got them back on track before the Wolves debacle.
That was after the Spanish tactician’s job appeared on the line following a dreadful run of results. It remains to be seen if they do try to lure Ramsey back to the club this summer.
“Aaron would be perfect in Mikel Arteta’s system, but he belongs to Juve and he has to stay focused on them to win trophies,” he added. “This year he has already won one, I hope it’s just the first in a long line.”
